The conference perk people actually line up for
A staffed, studio-lit headshot station for conferences, conventions and corporate offices. Attendees walk up, get directed by a real photographer, and walk off with a headshot in their inbox.
How it works
I set up a compact studio wherever you have ten feet of floor: expo hall, foyer, breakout room, or your office. Three-light setup, clean backdrop, tethered camera. Each person gets a minute of real direction, which is the difference between a headshot and a photo of someone standing in front of a backdrop.
They pick their favorite frame on the screen, type their email, and the image is waiting for them before they're back at their booth. Retouched finals follow within 48 hours.
Why organizers book it
Headshots are the perk attendees mention in the post-event survey. Most people are two jobs past their current LinkedIn photo, and a conference is the one time they're wearing the right shirt anyway. For sponsors, it is a branded touchpoint with opt-in lead capture and a line of people voluntarily standing in it.
Offices too, not just events
The same station comes to corporate offices for team headshot days: consistent lighting and framing across the whole company, new-hire sessions on a recurring schedule, and nobody has to drive to a studio. More on office headshots here.

Questions, answered
- How many headshots can the station handle?
- About 30 people per hour at a comfortable pace: enough for 120 attendees in a half day and 240 or more in a full day without a line forming.
- How do attendees get their photos?
- On the spot. Each person picks their favorite frame at the station and it lands in their inbox before they walk away, retouched version to follow within 48 hours.
- Is this a photo booth?
- No. It is a working photographer with studio lighting who poses and directs every person. Automated booths produce automated results; this produces a headshot people actually use on LinkedIn.
- Can a sponsor brand the station?
- Yes, and they should: branded backdrop, branded delivery emails, and opt-in lead capture. A headshot station is the rare sponsorship attendees line up for.
- Do you also do headshot lounges for multi-day conventions?
- Yes. For multi-day events the station becomes a lounge: fixed hours each day, so attendees can come back when the schedule allows.
- Can you bundle it with event coverage?
- That is the best way to book it. One vendor, one invoice: I shoot your keynotes and sessions while a second shooter runs the station, and the bundle is priced below booking the two separately.
