Temecula Valley wine country does double duty as a meeting destination. South Coast Winery Resort & Spa and Ponte Winery both host corporate meetings and events on their grounds, and companies with a facility in the area, Abbott among them, have reason to book a retreat close to home rather than fly a team out. I have photographed resort-scale convention programs at Gaylord properties more than a dozen times, the format where a full day runs across a general session, an expo, and an evening event without leaving the building. That is the same rhythm a Pechanga convention or a large Temecula corporate gathering runs on, and it is the experience I bring to the valley even on a first visit to a given venue.
